It's anticipated the aged care workforce will need to grow to almost a million in the next 30 years to care for Australia's ageing population. But with public opinion of the sector at a low and negative perceptions at a high, the next generation of talent are being discouraged from entering the industry. A new study has revealed that 60 per cent of the emerging workforce aren't keen on a career in aged care when they finish their studies.
